Double rainbow in Dubois!
Well, it sure is summer! The heat came on quickly today, and we only got scenery worth it in the last 20 or so miles. But it was a decent go, and our ride dedication this morning kept us motivated and focused on the task at hand. The weather is only fitting for the canyon-ed desert-like landscape. We were also visited by Gibby’s dad at our last rest stop, which makes the ride so much more fun and, dare I say, luxurious!
Great rest stop scenery

The stayover in Dubois is known for accepting all cyclists who come through, and our amazing hosts invited us over for a fantastic dinner. Their backyard faced the mountains and had a river running through it, which was wonderful scenery and a good wade. We’ll be seeing our hosts again tomorrow morning before we ride off for the Grand Tetons! Tomorrow night we camp and then Friday is a rest day— we may or may not have internet, so I may or may not post tomorrow. But either way, our rest day (day 49) will not have a journal post! We are all so excited to finally see the Grand Tetons and do some hiking and stargazing (we usually aren’t up past sunset!)
