Hello all! My name is Jaylen Patel and I am a senior studying Actuarial Science with a minor in Computer Science. I am originally from Roselle, IL and am the eldest of 4 children. In addition to my aspirations of working as an actuary following graduation, I enjoy writing in my travel blog, listening to 70s soul, playing sports and board games, and spending quality time with friends and family.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
My grandmother passed away from cancer in 2021 and I am participating in the 2023 ride to celebrate her memory, inspire my siblings, and provide my lifelong support to the individuals and families impacted by cancer.
