BIOGRAPHY
Hello! My name is Jung Shim. I am currently a freshman studying physics (don't ask me why. I don't know either) at the University of Illinois. I was born and raised in Yeosu, South Korea, but I've been going to school in Michigan since 5th grade. My hobbies are procrastinating and taking a nap. Other than that, you will usually find me at Grainger Library trying to understand math. I always loved biking and I have biked across Korea with my family a few years ago. I am excited to be part of this team and to see what this new adventure will take me.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
I dedicate my ride to everyone who has suffered from cancer and those who shared their pain. I hope my ride can help develop safer and effective methods to prevent, detect, treat, and possibly cure cancer.
