BIOGRAPHY
Hi everyone! My name is Bryan, a freshman majoring in Engineering Technology and Management at the University of Illinois. I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, an island in East Asia (14 hours by plane to Chicago). I have always had a strong passion for sports. I did triathlons and half-marathon in high school. Now, I love to work out and watch Netflix in my spare time. Besides sports, I love to design and make robots. I participated in the VEX robotics competition in high school and I am now an R&D member and an assistant public officer in the Illini-vex robotics organization. I look forward to my first cross-country road biking with my 2022 Bike America team member!
PERSONAL STATEMENT
Illini 4000 is an organization dedicated to documenting the experience, raising funds for cancer research and patient service as well as spreading awareness of it. During the pandemics, cycling has become the primary sport I do and became my interest. Having the opportunity to do the things I love and helping out people who suffer from cancer, motivates me to take on more challenges. I take pride in becoming a member of the 2022 Bike America Team.
