BIOGRAPHY
My name is Aaditya and I was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. Currently a sophomore studying at Zoom University, hoping to transfer back to University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in January of 2020. I am majoring in Strategic Business Development and Entrepreneurship. You would find me at the gym usually during the evenings or out at the outdoor soccer fields and occasionally at Café Paradiso, which is quite surprising as I do not usually drink coffee. During the weekend I like to be outdoors and going on short trips such as canoeing or bike-packing. On campus I am a consultant at Illinois Business Consulting and am a member of the executive board of the Outdoor Adventure Club. I love trying new food and if you would like to take me out to try new food, I would always be down ;) , but just keep in mind I am vegetarian. I am excited to be undertaking this new adventure and hope to inspire and make a difference in people’s lives.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
Fighting cancer is not an easy feat. I am cycling 4000 miles across the country to show people affected that we recognize them and the arduous journey they are or have pushed through. I am cycling 4000 miles across this country to support the ones affected and to make them even stronger. I am cycling 4000 miles across the country to help build a community to inspire the people affected and their close ones to push even further and get through this journey. Even though the hardships one suffers while battling cancer would not compare to the ones that we Illini 4000 riders would undertake, I hope that I can show my support to them and let them know that we are proud of their strength through their battles.
