Day 59: Buoyancy in Boise

Today was our rest day in Boise, Idaho! We decided to do the most restful thing we could think of … so we went whitewater rafting. In all seriousness it was one of the coolest things we have done on the ride so far. We woke up at 7:30 so we could be out the door by 9. We drove 45 minutes to the Bear Valley River Company located on the Payette river. We then drove 7 miles down the river so we could get to the white rapids. It was several team member’s first time whitewater rafting. We got to ride class 2,3, and 4 rapids today and they got a little crazy toward the end. Some of us even rode the bull (sitting at the front of the raft while we went over rapids).

All of us were pretty exhausted and hungry after the excursion so the rest of the night was spent relaxing, running errands, and going out to eat at various places.
