We're about 1/3rd done with the trip, and I thought it would be a fantastic time to start my blog. So far, the ride has been absolutely amazing. The ride has been everything I had hoped for, and way more. I knew I would love spending my summer biking across the country, but I didn't know I would love every single day.

Up to this point, I still declare that my favorite day of the trip was the ride into Everitt, Pennsylvania. Although the ride was physically demanding, as it was the first day in the mountains, the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. I can recall one specific point of the ride where the trees just opened up, and I could see everywhere below that I had just been. It was awesome.
